How to set the hard drive overwrite for a QS494,QS458, QS524, QS558, QS4716, and

QS4816 DVR

Step 3: Select one of the following:

Overwrite by Capacity – The DVR will record until the drive is full. Once the drive is

full, the oldest video on the DVR will automatically be over-written and recycled,

recursively (RECOMMENDED).

Overwrite by Days – Any video older than the number of days specified will be

automatically recycled.

Never – DVR will cease to record once the drive is full.

Step 4: Click “Apply”

Step5: Then click “Exit”
